My name is Jason Williams, and I am an Education Specialist who has been working with students since 2011. Over the years, I have supported learners in both general education and special education settings, gaining extensive experience helping students with a wide range of learning needs.
I have worked with students in both one-on-one tutoring environments and classroom settings, which has allowed me to tailor instruction to each student’s unique strengths and challenges. My passion is helping children learn how to read through individualized instruction that meets students where they are and builds the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
In 2022, I began teaching full time and continue to dedicate my career to helping students grow academically and personally. I hold a Special Education teaching credential and am committed to providing supportive, personalized instruction that helps every student reach their full potential.
As a reading tutor, I currently use the Barton Reading and Spelling System, a structured, research-based approach designed to support students who struggle with reading, including those with dyslexia. The Barton curriculum is a multisensory, explicit, and systematic program that helps students build strong foundations in phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, and reading fluency.
Through this structured approach, I guide students step-by-step as they develop the skills needed to become confident and independent readers.
