Total Success Reading

My name is Jason Williams, and I am an Education Specialist who has been working with students since 2011. Over the years, I have supported learners in both general education and special education settings, gaining extensive experience helping students with a wide range of learning needs.

As a reading tutor, I currently use the Barton Reading and Spelling System, a structured, research-based approach designed to support students who struggle with reading, including those with dyslexia. The Barton curriculum uses the Orton-Gillingham approach and is a multisensory, explicit, and systematic program that helps students build strong foundations in phonemic awareness, decoding and spelling.

Through this structured approach, I guide students step-by-step as they develop the skills needed to become confident and independent readers.
